Apply to give up your British citizenship or another type of British nationality if you live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory or if you live elsewhere and want to apply by post.
 
Form: Register as a British citizen (form UKM)
Register as a British citizen if you live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory or if you live elsewhere and want to apply by post and were born before 1983 to a British mother.
 
Form: Register as a British citizen if you were born before July 2006 to a British father (form UKF)
Register as a British citizen if you live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory or if you live elsewhere and want to apply by post and were born before 1 July 2006 to a British father and your parents were not married.
 
Form: Register as a British citizen (form RS1)
Apply to become a British citizen again after giving up (renouncing) citizenship if you live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory or if you live elsewhere and want to apply by post.
 
Form: Register as a British citizen (form T)
Register as a British citizen if you now live in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory or if you live elsewhere and want to apply by post but were born and lived in the UK until the age of 10.
