Employers: Four men face removal after Dorset immigration raids

Following raids in Bournemouth and Christchurch, 4 men are in immigration detention awaiting removal from the country.

Acting on information received, officers went to Wonderful Kitchen, Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on Friday 27 April and checked the immigration status of the staff present.

There were 2 Chinese men - aged 19 and 38 who were found to have entered the UK illegally, while a 21-year-old Malaysian man had stayed in the country after his visa expired.

If you are applying under the postal route you can book an appointment online as normal.

If you cannot book an appointment online, please do not phone us to report this problem. We advise you to wait and try to use the service again later.

Employers: Tier 2 certificates of sponsorship allocations for 2012/13

We are currently experiencing high volumes of requests from sponsors who have applied to renew their allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for 2012-13. Processing time for requests has increased and you may experience a short delay in receiving your new allocation. We are working to keep delays to a minimum. Our aim is to have the majority of allocation requests, submitted before 6 April 2012, concluded by Friday 4 May 2012.
